আসসালামু আলাইকুম। আজকে আমরা International Mother Language Day Paragraph টি বাংলা অর্থ সহ দেখব। একে National Martyrs Day বা 21st February ও বলা হয়ে থাকে। 

International Mother language day 

The language movement is one of the most important events of our Bangladeshi culture. Bangla is our mother language.After the British rule was over Pakistan Rulers declared Urdu as the only state language in pakistan. Majority of the people of East pakistan who spoke Bangla as their mother language. They could not accept pakistani Rulers declaration and started protesting. 

 In  21 February 1052 student took out a procession on the roads of Dhaka and braking curfew. At this moment the police fire on the peaceful group of protesters. Many had been wounded and many had died including salam, Rafiq etc. After then the movement become stronger. Finally the pakistani Rulers was compelled to declare Bangla as one of the statel anguage in pakistan. 

After then 21 February become the National Martyrs Day. In 1999 UNESCO has declared this day to be observed worldwide as the International mother language Day. This was the first incident in world history that people Secrificed their lives for their mother language Rights. Actually this movement led the nation toward the liberation wor. However we can never Forget our language movement. 

বাংলা অর্থঃ ভাষা আন্দোলন আমাদের বাংলাদেশের সংস্কৃতির অন্যতম গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ঘটনা। বাংলা আমাদের মাতৃভাষা। ব্রিটিশ শাসনের পর পাকিস্তানের শাসকরা উর্দুকে পাকিস্তানের একমাত্র রাষ্ট্রভাষা হিসেবে ঘোষণা করে। পূর্ব পাকিস্তানের সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠ মানুষ যারা তাদের মাতৃভাষা বাংলায় কথা বলতেন। তারা পাকিস্তানি শাসকদের ঘোষণা মেনে নিতে না পেরে প্রতিবাদ শুরু করে।

১৯৫২ সালের ২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি ছাত্ররা ঢাকার রাস্তায় মিছিল বের করে এবং কারফিউ ভেঙে দেয়। এই মুহূর্তে পুলিশ শান্তিপূর্ণ বিক্ষোভকারীদের গ্রুপের উপর গুলি চালায়। অনেকে আহত হয় এবং সালাম, রফিকসহ অনেকে মারা যায়। এরপর আন্দোলন জোরদার হয়। অবশেষে পাকিস্তানি শাসকরা বাংলাকে পাকিস্তানের অন্যতম রাষ্ট্রভাষা হিসেবে ঘোষণা করতে বাধ্য হয়।

এরপর থেকে ২১ ফেব্রুয়ারি জাতীয় শহীদ দিবসে পরিণত হয়। ১৯৯৯ সালে ইউনেস্কো এই দিনটিকে আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসেবে বিশ্বব্যাপী পালনের ঘোষণা দেয়। পৃথিবীর ইতিহাসে এটাই ছিল প্রথম ঘটনা যে মাতৃভাষার অধিকারের জন্য মানুষ তাদের জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছে। প্রকৃতপক্ষে এই আন্দোলন জাতিকে মুক্তির পথে নিয়ে যায়। যাহোক আমরা আমাদের ভাষা আন্দোলনকে ভুলতে পারব না।
